GalaxyCon Part 2 📸🎪
A few more favorites from the GalaxyCon archives!
Instagram’s image ratios made me split these into two posts, but honestly, these deserved their own spotlight anyway. The creativity, expressions, and detail that go into cosplay always make these sessions so much fun to photograph.
More of Ragatha and Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus — and a big thanks to the cosplayer who reached out and reminded me to dig these back out!

Digging back into the GalaxyCon archives!
Had one of the cosplayers from GalaxyCon reach out looking for photos, which sent me back through some of the images from the weekend. Glad she did because I had forgotten about some of these!
Ragatha and Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus brought some serious color and creativity to the camera. The amount of work cosplayers put into these characters is always fun to photograph.
Here are a few favorites!

Had to share a few more from Mason & Hayden’s proposal! 💍🍂

Such a fun evening with a great young couple, beautiful fall color, and a pretty special moment to photograph.

Congratulations again, Mason & Hayden! So excited for you both and everything ahead.

Ready for battle at GalaxyCon Raleigh.

The costume details, weapons, posing, and energy made this such a fun portrait to capture. Convention photography often gives you only a few moments to find the right angle, direct the pose, and create an image that fits the scene.

Cloud Strife and Yuffie Kisaragi brought Final Fantasy VII to life at GalaxyCon Raleigh.

I love convention photography because it combines portraiture, character, costume design, and quick creative decisions—all within just a few moments. These two made the job easy.

A galaxy far, far away landed in Raleigh. ✨

From Jedi and Sith to droids and bounty hunters, GalaxyCon Raleigh brought the Star Wars universe to life. It was great capturing the costumes, characters, and creativity throughout the convention.

May the Force be with you.

So grateful to be back behind the camera doing what I love.

This maternity session was especially meaningful — getting to spend time with a bride I photographed a few years ago, now stepping into such a beautiful new season of life.

It’s an honor to be invited into these special moments and to help capture memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Thank you for trusting me with such an important chapter.

More sessions like this, please.
