🚨Houghton Lake Dock & Hoist Installation Update

We are finally beginning dock and hoist installations on Houghton Lake!

We appreciate everyone's patience as we work through an extremely busy season. We have a large number of customers to take care of, and our crews are working hard to get everyone installed as quickly and safely as possible.

Before your installation, please measure from the top of your seawall to where the water begins and let us know that measurement. This helps us determine whether the water level has dropped enough at your location for safe installation.

We are recommending a minimum of 16 inches from where the dock will sit to where the water starts. If your measurement is less that 16 inches, we will still require a signed waiver before installation.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this challenging season. Our goal is to have installations completed by July 4th.

We appreciate your business and look forward to getting everyone back on the water!

⚠️Sage Lake⚠️
We will be setting hoists tomorrow, May 21st. We have 60+ hoists on the schedule and it's not possible to do them all in one day. We will be back next week after the holiday to finish up any remaining hoists on our schedule. We appreciate your understanding and patience this season with the crazy flooding and water levels. We are doing everything we can to accommodate our customers.

Water levels are cooperating on Higgins Lake - another beautiful new install of Bulmann Dock completed and ready for summer!

We're still closely monitoring conditions on Houghton Lake and waiting for water levels to come down a bit more before safely moving forward with any installs. We appreciate everyone's patience!

⚠️Lake St. Helen & Sage Lake residents⚠️

Due to the high water levels, we are holding off on hoist installs at this time. We will be checking on a weekly basis and monitoring water levels. Customers, please keep us updated on when your docks get installed so we have a better idea of when we can start getting your hoists in. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this crazy spring season!

This is exactly the kind of inconvenience strong winds and higher water levels can cause. Unfortunately, even properly installed docks and hoists are at risk in these conditions. This customer was lucky there was no actual damage to the dock or hoist and just required some releveling and reattaching.

To protect both our customers and our team, we are requiring a signed liability waiver for anyone requesting installation on Houghton Lake during high water conditions. While we're still here to help you if you choose to move forward, our professional recommendation is to wait until water levels stabilize.

We understand the excitement of getting everything in for the season - but more importantly, we want to help you protect your investment and avoid costly damage.

Due to the current high water levels, we are temporarily pausing all seasonal and new dock/hoist installations to ensure the safety of your property.

We understand how important it is to get everything in the water, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. As soon as the water levels become more manageable, we will resume installations and continue working through our schedule as quickly as possible.
