2️⃣ **A lanyard for your Key to the World card** — You’ll use this for your room, for buying stuff on board, and to get on and off the ship. Losing it in the pool is a rite of passage. Don’t be a statistic.

3️⃣ **Your Cove Cafe coffee punch card energy** — Okay you don’t “pack” this one, but decide on day one that you’re getting a specialty coffee every single day. By day 4 you’ll have earned a free one and a personality built entirely around it.

Is Disney Cruise Line actually worth the extra money, or are you just paying for the mouse ears?

I get asked this constantly, so let's talk about it honestly. Yes, Disney Cruise Line is more expensive. A 3-5 night sailing on Disney can run you $1,300-$1,900+ per person, while a comparable Royal Caribbean sailing might start around $550-$700. That's not a small gap, and I'm not going to pretend it is.

Here's why the price is different, though:
Disney only has 6 ships in the fleet compared to Royal Caribbean's 27+. Less capacity means less leverage with suppliers, which trickles down into the fare.

So is it worth it? Honestly, it depends on your family. If you've got young kids who light up over character interactions, or you want a trip where almost nothing extra hits your wallet once you're onboard, Disney earns its price tag. The Wish’s signature adult lounge is giving Beauty and the Beast elegance with a modern edge — think moody florals, a rose that “wilts” with the seasons, and craft cocktails that feel like a night out.
