Yesterday’s Tanner The Planter Goes International live sale was an absolute BLAST. 🌎🌿✈️
We spent hours live with you, and almost our entire team got a turn in front of the camera presenting plants. Everyone showed up dressed like tourists, ready to have fun, and completely committed to the theme. 😂 Donuts together in the morning to lunch as a team and hours of plants, laughter, and live selling, it was exactly the kind of day we hoped it would be.
More than anything, it was really special to have one last big day together as a team before we leave Monday for our very first international business trip.🇬🇹
The last time Erika landed in Guatemala City, she was 16 years old. She was a high school student going to live with her grandparents to learn more about her culture and to escape a pretty traumatic divorce situation. She had no idea she was about to experience a place that would become such an important part of her story.
Thirty-three years later, she’s returning to Guatemala City but this time alongside TTP, as a professional speaker and an expert in the houseplant industry, invited to take the stage as a keynote speaker. 🌿🇬🇹. Life is pretty incredible sometimes.
To our team: THANK YOU. Watching each of you jump in yesterday, present plants, make people laugh, embrace the ridiculous tourist outfits, and genuinely get excited about what we do made us so proud. We wish every single one of you could pack your bags and come along with us!
And to our plant people: thank you for showing up. Thank you for shopping, laughing with us, cheering on our team, and sending so many messages of encouragement and well wishes as we get ready for this adventure. Your support is what allows opportunities like this to happen in the first place, and we never forget that.
