Some very exciting news for our airport. Thanks to a partnership with Carver Companies we were able to purchase a used JetA fuel truck that has been serviced and ready to go by Demo Salvage Inc.
We took delivery today of a load of fuel so we now can offer both JetA and 100LL.
The jet fuel will have to be filled by one of our airport staff until we have a credit card system so customers can pay on site.

Angel Flight pilot Stephen flew up here from Nashua New Hampshire to take a very special boy to his appointments in Massachusetts. We are so thankful for this service. Reed & Reed Construction has been at the airport this week doing the ground work for our new AWOS III (Automated Weather Observing System). They set the concrete bases and put in the electrical conduit so when the system arrives from the manufacturer it will be ready to go.

This will replace a very aging/obsolete system that Lifeflight of Maine has been maintaining. This new system is being made possible by Maine DOT Aviation and the FAA.

We had a couple special visitors at the airport this morning. Keith (on the left) has been here in the area for several days as a guest of the Passamaquoddy Tribe here hunting with them.

Adam is a pilot with Veterans Airlift Command and brought Keith up here from his home in PA and back free of charge.

The airport was honored to host them before they headed back on their journey home.

Angel Flight pilot Rich Mileika came to PNN this morning to take a patient to Boston for doctors appointments. This is a huge weight off patients and families as they are in Boston in just 1 hour and 30 minutes compared to 6+ hours in a car.

2016 Beech KingAir 250 and a 1961 Beech G18S on the apron this morning. The KingAir is Carver Companies and the G18S is Bancroft Construction. Good things happening in this part of Washington County!

Had a special guest fly in this morning, the Adjutant General of Maine Army National Guard came in for a meeting. Very cool to meet people like this!
