"Wind and watertight" is the most-used phrase in container sales, and most buyers don't know what it does and doesn't promise.

WWT means the container keeps out wind and rain: doors seal, roof doesn't leak, walls are intact. It does **not** mean pretty. A WWT container can have dents, surface rust, and faded paint and still do its job perfectly for storage.

Where buyers get burned: sellers who use WWT to describe containers that don't actually seal. The test is simple. Stand inside with the doors closed. Any daylight through the walls or roof means water gets in too.

The delivery goes smooth or rough based on what happens before the truck arrives. Here's how to prep.

Three things we need: ACCESS (a straight shot roughly 60+ feet for a 20' container, more for a 40'), CLEARANCE (watch for low branches and power lines, because the truck bed tilts high), and GROUND (firm and reasonably level; soggy ground after an Alabama rain can end a delivery).

We talk through all of this on the phone before we ever load the truck. That pre-delivery conversation is included, and it's why our deliveries rarely have surprises.

Rent for a season. Buy if you'll need it more than about two years. That's the honest math.

Renting wins when the need is temporary: a project, a build, a season of overflow. No capital expense, and when you're done, we come get it.

Buying wins when the container becomes permanent infrastructure: shop storage, farm equipment, a fixture on your property. Monthly rent on a container you keep for five years costs far more than owning it, and a container you own still holds resale value.
