Hey....we've been keeping a secret for a while.
As you all know 2024 was such a hard year for us. It was such a weird fog of death/grief until early 2025. All the while this was happening our biggest goal was achieved. Family drama/trauma had me personally keeping personal stuff to myself. In August I cutoff my last family member & finally let go of their toxic generational trauma filled ways. A family should want the best for you & be proud of you not tear you down because you're doing great.
The truth is we retired early in March of 2025. Still grieving & dealing with the family trauma that we didn't really celebrate our freedom we worked so hard for. But that is now changing.
Nathan was 50 & I was 48 when we retired. We raised our girls, bought a house, helped the girls with college and saved every penny we had. It wasn't easy, it was challenging and rough at times. BUT WE PERSISTED and did it.
Baja this year was our first real adventure with no plan and no deadline. We didn't film one thing. Just us spending time with each other & our friends along the way. What a blast.
What does that mean now? We will continue our videos but instead of pushing out a video every month we will do it when we feel like it. We want our videos to be something authentic, well made and filled with passion. Now that we're retired we can go on even bigger adventures.
2026 we're finally heading east! That's right! All these years you have commented or sent messages that you wanted us to go east. We listened & now we're ready.
Thank you for sticking with us after all these years. We hope we've inspired some of you to go on your own adventures. We hope we were a great example of how to set a goal and achieve it. We're so thankful for all of you coming along with us. We love you guys!
