Congratulations to our Driver of the Month, Luis!
Luis was encouraged to become a truck driver by his father, who encouraged him to pursue a career where he could build a future for himself. Taking his father's advice, Luis earned his CDL and began a career and has been behind the wheel for an impressive 34 years.
Luis started out as a company driver and has spent the last 20 years as an owner-operator. He joined Powersource Transportation in May 2026 and has quickly become a valued member of the team.
Luis drives a 2017 Peterbilt equipped with a power pump and long slide. He also holds all four major endorsements: doubles, triples, tanker, and hazmat.
A Conroe, Texas native, Luis has been married to his wife, Raquel, for more than 30 years. Together, they have 10 children—seven boys and three girls!
When Luis isn't on the road, he's usually keeping busy back home. Whether he's building, welding, or lending a hand to his neighbors, Luis is always willing to put his skills to work and help others.
