Had a slam jam day yesterday. All day it was slow so I called Mimi and asked her out to linnerunch( that's lunch and dinner together) (and yes I did just create that word). Anyhow as soon as i picked her up we went to a chinese restaurant to eat. We ordered food but could not get them to make me an unsweet tea. Oh well i got an extra egg foo yung pattie so I'm 😎. That's when my phone went La Ringa Loco. I got calls from the Harbor Fashion, the Washington Express, the NYK Deneb, the Tokyo Express, the Maersk Kalkavan and the Philadelphia Express. Man it was so great and my lady friend got to ride along and see what i do when i do what i do. I called in "The Prince" @ SavTaxi, Ben " The Boss" Murray and "Rapid Rob" for back up and we GOT IT DONE. It started at 1530 and lasted till 2359. Thanks to all the ships that use our services here in Savannah and my apologies to the ones that had to wait a while longer than usual for their ride; and congratulations to Seaman Aziz from NYK for single handedly keeping all the girls at Uncle Harry's in business last night. Special shouts out to the BrassBalled and Brazenbraed cadets of the Philly X. They ripped up downtown's club and bar scene with a vengence and total disregard for any form of sobriety that would swell with pride the heart of any old school sailor or seadog. Im surprised they weren't hauled back aboard ship in a cargo net.
Well so long for now and STAY SAFE OUT THERE!!!.
