This is considered Mississippi's most iconic historical landmark. All that's left of this mansion, which burned down in 1890, are these giant pillars. More information on this site is in the pictures. Interesting to see.

Serpent Mound, Ohio. While it's beautiful and fascinating, I think the only disappointing thing about this place is that it's impossible to get an overhead view, which is vital to seeing it as a whole.
In these pictures, you need to look past all the grass, and focus on the shapes of the slopes, etc.
It's an interesting mystery.

Plymouth, Massachusetts. I came here just to see the actual Plymouth Rock, which I was a little disappointed with, but the town itself is so interesting that I walked around for about two hours, and of course, got an obligatory lobster roll.

Grand Isle, Louisiana. This island off the coast has Louisiana's only beach. It's a popular destination for those who love to catch fish. A couple of years ago, the island was almost completely destroyed by a hurricane, but was quickly rebuilt, with the exception of a few ruins which still remain.
