Good morning, friends and fans! Please see the latest weekly update on our primary RWY 09-27 resurfacing project. Work is progressing well, and we have a few important updates affecting the airfield this weekend.

PLEASE CHECK NOTAMs PRIOR TO FLYING IN!

Beginning 7am local time this FRIDAY, 9 OCT, TWY B will close to all air traffic between TWY C and the north end of RWY 18-36 for 6 calendar days. This is a full closure (not just an overnight closure) to facilitate work in the intersection. Aircraft using RWY 18-36 will need to turn around at the north end and back taxi to TWY C in order to access TWY B and E.

RWY 18-36 will close nightly from sunset to sunrise beginning SUNDAY, 11 OCT. This will be overnight closure only to facilitate work in the intersection.

All work is weather dependent. Again, please check NOTAMs in advance of any planned flights. Contact the airport with questions.

Construction is underway! At 07:00hrs local time our primary RWY 09-27 closed to all air traffic, and the resurfacing project commenced. The closure is expected to last 18 consecutive days. RWY 18-36 remains OPEN throughout the project, except for 5 days of overnight closures to complete runway intersection work. Please check NOTAMs and / or contact the airport with questions!

Heads up, friends & fans! Please spread the word! Our primary runway resurfacing project will begin Monday, 28 September. Runway 09-27 will CLOSE for 18 days beginning at 07:00 hours local time on the morning of Monday, 28 September. Runway 18-36 will remain open during daylight hours throughout the project, with closures expected overnight only to complete intersection work.

If you are planning to visit in the coming weeks, please check NOTAMs early and often, and contact the airport with any questions!
