For those of you that didn’t see this. The Grindestone General store, ice cream shop faced a devastating fire on New Year’s Day, but hopefully they will rise from the ashes and rebuild by summer.

The 5th annual Halloween party & Chili cook off. Total laugh riot, minus the Tigers' loss. We spent the weekend eating, laughing, and watching football with the gang. Some of us dressed up, and Garrett was crowned chili king, receiving his trophy from last year's champ Sheila with an Oscar-worthy display of humility!

Transforming a patch of land into a wildflower, bird, and butterfly garden has been a satisfying journey for my brother Garrett and me. Today, I revel in the picturesque result, made even more special by the hummingbirds that dart around me. I am grateful to everyone who played a part in bringing this haven to life, showcasing the potential for positive change in our park!
