Clallam Transit System will be closed with limited bus service on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

Only the Strait Shot Route 123 and Hurricane Ridge Shuttle will be available. This will also be the Hurricane Ridge Shuttle's last day of the season.

Fall is coming and with that we have some schedule updates effective September 6th.

☀️Route 10 Joyce and Route 12 Lower Elwha will start earlier to make connections with Route 123 Strait Shot.
🌙Route 26 West Side will have later Saturday evening service.
🚌Route 28 Deer Park will have updated times.

We had the opportunity to host a safety meeting with City of Port Angeles Fire Department and Clallam 2 Fire-Rescue at our facility this week.

The firefighters and emergency medical services team toured one of our coaches to familiarize themselves with the layout and then they performed several live drills on a cutaway bus destined for the scrap yard.

We are grateful to partner with our first responders so they are prepared and ready to serve the community when real emergencies happen!

Clallam Transit System attended the 50th Washington State Public Transportation Conference this week.

⭐ Our driver Dante' Ruiz was recognized as one of the Washington Department of Transportation Wall of Fame inductees at the event! ⭐

The conference also celebrated Washington’s transit history, and CTS joined in with a display of historic photos, memorabilia, and other items from our agency’s history.

We’re especially proud to celebrate Dante’ and this well-deserved recognition. Congratulations, Dante’! 🚌

One month left to ride to Hurricane Ridge with Clallam Transit!

Shuttle departs daily through September 7th from Gateway Transit Center (GTC) 8am-4pm, including Sundays and holidays.

Please note:
⚠️Passengers must have a valid park pass and pay applicable fare prior to boarding.
🚍Fare is $1 per boarding, with reduced fare available for qualifying passengers.
👶🏼Youth ages 18 and under ride Clallam Transit free, and youth ages 15 and under enter the park free.
🥾Shuttle stops at the Lake Angeles and Switchback trailheads on the way up.
🚴🏼Bus racks provided on first come, first serve basis.
🅿️Free parking available on first come, first serve basis at GTC.

Skip the long entrance lines, leave the parking hassle behind, and enjoy the ride into Olympic National Park! ⛰️🌲🚌
