What's the going "handyman" rate?
When hiring a handyman, are you paying, or expect to pay, hourly, per job, or both?
Peace of Mind Moving & Logistics & Special Deliveries of South Florida continues to get requests for simple handyman tasks, such as hanging art and TVs, hiding wires, changing fixtures....
Basic "Honey-Do" stuff.
I have a couple of Handy men and pro Handyman that we can easily add in these services and better support our clients.
It's hard to say certain tasks that are small can be set at a flat rate because, there's so many variables in the little things.
Hanging a TV on the wall, could have a flat rate if it's just a flat mount, a little extra if hiding wires, a little extra if an extension mount, then it's extra if we have to add bracing etc etc ...
I'm thinking, and from what I understand, going rate for handyman's understand, going rate for a skilled service is about $100 an hour.
With a minimum " service start" of___
Remember, if I come to your house to hang a tv, it might take an hour to hang the tv, but I have to drive there, make sure I have the right equipment tools hardware, hopefully there's no surprises, and when I'm done, my drive to the next job so, you're 1 hour quick TV hang is actually 3 hours of " my " day. - thus the need for an initial minimum from any service stop.
