The award-winning DF300AP incorporates "Suzuki Selective Rotation" - the world's first outboard that combines standard and counter-rotation operation into the same lower unit. Two-Way low water pick-up inlet provides engine cooling with increased water flow. The DF300AP also features “Suzuki Precision Control”. This fly-by wire control offers silky smooth shifting and throttle response. Original Evinrude Lightwin Outboard Motor
This is a 1952 3 hp Evinrude outboard. This engine runs good and has been fully serviced May 25th, 2019. This is a 2 stroke, 2 cylinder, manual start outboard with an internal gas tank. This motor rotates 360 as it is forward gear only. The engine is in original condition and is cosmetically ugly. Mechanically it runs well. We have fully boat tested it. This motor came from an era where quality and craftsmanship took precedence over mass production and economies of scale. This would be the perfect motor to use as an icon to bring back nostalgic memories. The weight of this motor is only 35-40lbs and it is a twin cylinder making it a smooth outboard. If you are in the market for an outboard motor with sentimental value this is the engine!

This is a 1957 35hp Evinrude outboard that we have fully restored and is in great running condition. Our mechanics restore this engine mechanically and then cosmetically with a dupont paint job. These are very desirable outboards as they are from the iconic 50's era. This 35 hp Evinrude requires a pressurized gas tank. We have those fully restored for $200.00. This 35 hp Evinrude has been serviced and runs great. This is an electric and pull start, remote model. This motor only weighs 125lbs, the weight of the average 25 hp today. If you are in the market for a 25-40hp outboard this is the motor !This is a 2 stroke, 2 cylinder outboard with forward-Neutral-Reverse. The shaft length on this motor is 15" which makes it a short shaft. This Evinrude 35hp will make a perfect outboard for a Vintage wooden boat, Boston Whaler type skiff, John Boat, Sailboat, Bass Boat, Gheenoe, Portable Boat, Pontoon, Flats Skiff, large inflatable, or any other small watercraft. Please look at detailed pictures to get an accurate description of the detail. There is a blemish on the top of the cowling that occurred during the painting process. It is minor but would require repainting the whole engine in order to match the paint. There is a close-up of it in the pictures below.
