Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge opens in summer 2027, and I’m pretty sure Imagineering built this resort specifically for me. 🌲✨
If you’ve been following along, you know my heart lives in mountain air, lakeside views, and cozy resort days. Seeing all of that paired with high-end, subtle Disney storytelling feels like a match made in heaven. Between thoughts of floating the Daydream River, catching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from Bay Lake, and sipping a cocktail under that color-changing glass chandelier at Branch & Brush... I am completely sold.

Happy National Coffee Day! ☕️ Any excuse to talk about coffee, but today has me looking back at our trip to Kauai Coffee Company.

Walking through the estate, learning about Hawaii’s 200-year coffee history, and (obviously) trying way too many samples was easily one of the highlights of our vacation. I mean, Banana Nut Coffee straight from the source? Yes please.

That trip to Kauai as a whole is still one of my absolute favorite trips we’ve ever done. In fact, it’s what inspired me to go through the training to become a certified Hawaii Destination Specialist.

I’ve had the incredible opportunity to dig into island logistics and the amazing local culture. Beyond the beaches, it’s the authentic experiences (like visiting family-owned farms, learning about local history, tasting regional specialties, and connecting with the land) that make a trip to Hawaii so special. I love helping clients experience that deeper side of each of the islands, not just the standard tourist stops.

While I might not be at EPCOT’s Food and W**e Festival myself, I had a boots on the ground journalist (thank you to my friend and client Sara Allis ) to report back to me on some of the new offerings. And, of course, this cold brew at Sommerfest in the Germany pavilion stuck out to both of us as a MUST try. Happy to report that it’s been given a 10/10 rating and I feel like I need to sneak down to Florida ASAP just to try it because I have major FOMO.
