Booking Lightning Lanes at Disney World isn’t hard… but doing it well is what changes your entire day 👀

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by Lightning Lanes at Walt Disney World, you’re not alone.

It’s not just about booking rides, it’s about when, what, and how you stack them throughout the day.

Here’s the simple version:
You’ll use the My Disney Experience (Disney World) app to book your Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections, starting before your park day (based on your eligibility window). From there, you’ll continue booking throughout the day after you use each one.

But where I see the biggest difference? Strategy.

When I plan Lightning Lanes, I’m thinking about:
• Which high-demand rides will sell out first
• How to prioritize early return times
• When to start stacking rides for the afternoon
• And how to adjust in real time as availability changes

Because the goal isn’t just to use Lightning Lane, it’s to reduce wait times, ride more attractions, and keep your park day flowing smoothly.

This is one of those tools that can either feel frustrating or feel like your biggest advantage in the parks. And the difference is having a plan before you ever tap “book.”

Save this so you can book your Lightning Lanes with a plan not just on the fly.

If your vacation needs a vacation… your itinerary probably does too.

Overpacking your travel days doesn’t make your trip better, it makes it exhausting (I should know!).

A balanced itinerary is the secret to stress-free travel. By anchoring your day with 1–2 non-negotiable activities, clustering plans geographically, and leaving intentional margin for flexibility, you create flow instead of chaos or overwhelm.

I help clients design custom itineraries that maximize enjoyment, minimize stress, and make the most of every day. From daily travel planning and vacation schedules to optimized sightseeing and intentional travel flow, your trip becomes strategic, not frantic.

With the right planning, you get to enjoy every moment without scrambling from one attraction to the next. A well-designed itinerary balances activities, meals, energy levels, and travel logistics for real-life travel that feels effortless.

Work with me to create a fully planned itinerary that keeps your trip seamless and stress-free.

We’re travel advisors… of course we do a lot behind the scenes 👀

But most of it? You’d never actually see.

From travel planning and booking, to tracking price drops, securing dining, managing reservations, and building a plan that actually works in real life… it’s all happening quietly in the background.

Not so your trip is “perfect.”
But so it feels easy.

Because the goal isn’t just to plan a vacation, it’s to give you the space to actually enjoy it.

Send this to someone who thinks travel advisors “just book trips” 😉

If you’re trying to figure out where to stay at Disneyland, this is where most people make a decision that looks good on paper, but doesn’t feel great during the trip…

Because most advice focuses on price or whether to stay on property.

But in reality, that’s only part of the equation.

Staying on property at Disneyland isn’t always about proximity the way it is at Walt Disney World.

There are off-property hotels that are just as close and sometimes more convenient depending on your plans.

So better questions are:
How do you want your days to function?
Are you planning to go back to your hotel midday?
Is walking distance important to you, or are you okay with transportation?
Do you need space for a larger group or multiple rooms?
Are amenities like a pool, fridge, or free parking important?

Because those details add up quickly, and they impact your time, your energy, and even your overall cost more than people expect.

I’ve seen families book a lower-priced hotel farther away, only to spend the same (or more) once parking, transportation, and logistics are factored in.

And I’ve also seen the right hotel choice make a trip feel smoother, easier, and more enjoyable from start to finish.

This is one of the decisions I walk through with my clients early on, so the hotel actually supports the kind of trip they want to have.

Tell me what matters most to you in a hotel when you travel👇🏻

Think everything on Castaway Cay costs extra? Think again 👀☀️

Disney’s private island is full of surprises, from free BBQ lunches and family beaches to splash zones and the island tram 🏝️

But there are a few splurges worth knowing about — like private cabanas, stingray encounters, and open-air massages (yes, really).

The trick? Knowing what’s included so you can save your $$ for the moments that matter most 💫

I put together this swipe guide so you can plan your Castaway day like a pro. Zero surprises, just sunshine and strategy✨

Planning your next Disney cruise? Let me help you lock in your cabana, excursions, and dream-day details before they’re gone.

If your first day always feels like a blur… your flight time might be the problem.

If your trips tend to start off feeling a little chaotic or exhausting, there’s a good chance it’s not your destination…

…it’s your arrival day strategy.

More specifically — when you land.

I always recommend aiming for an early afternoon arrival whenever possible (especially for international trips).

Not the first flight of the morning where you’re running on fumes all day.

Not a late-night arrival where you’re disoriented and heading straight to bed.

That middle window gives you just enough energy to settle in intentionally.

Because what happens next matters just as much.
This is where most people tell themselves they’ll “just take a quick nap.”

And then suddenly it’s 2am… and your entire travel itinerary is off rhythm before it even begins.

Instead, I always plan for a soft landing:
• take time to locate the hotel and get settled
• head out to explore a nearby neighborhood
• enjoy a sit-down dinner
• stay awake until a normal bedtime

Whether you’re arriving in Paris or navigating a long-haul into Tokyo, this approach will makethe biggest difference in reducing jet lag and actually enjoying day two.

Because a thoughtful travel planning strategy isn’t just about what you do — it’s about setting your body and your schedule up to keep up with the trip you planned.

And when you get that first day right?
Everything flows better from there.
