Five people. One Disneyland hotel room. And ideally, no 20-minute walk after fireworks 😅
Every time my family travels, we face the same dilemma: find ONE room that fits five people and our needs… or admit defeat and book two. The struggle is REAL, people.
So when I look at Disneyland hotels for a family of five (like mine!), I know it’s about more than finding a room that technically sleeps five.
How will everyone sleep?
Will we have room to spread out?
Can we come back for a midday break without a trek?
And how much walking are we adding before we’ve even entered the parks?
These are four hotels I’d put on my shortlist for families who want to stay close to Disneyland, each with its own perks and trade-offs.
My biggest tip? Compare the actual room categories, not just the hotel’s starting rate. A mini-suite, bunk-bed room, and connecting rooms can make a BIG difference in how your family experiences the trip (and how much it costs).
