We are an AMA chartered R/C model aviation club located west of Pocatello near the Pocatello Regional Airport. Our flying field officially named Geisler Field is on a eight acre parcel which includes a 400 X 44 foot paved runway surrounded by lawn turf on both sides. Eastern Idaho Aeromodelers club meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month at the Marshal Public Library, 113 S. Garfield

, Pocatello at 7PM except during summer months the meetings are held at our club’s flying site, Geisler Field. Visiting spectators and AMA R/C pilots in good standing are welcomed at our flying site.

The Eastern Idaho Aeromodellers is having its monthly meeting Wednesday night at 730 at the flying field. If the weather goes bad we'll have it at the airport conference room. Hope to see all interested peeps there!

Eastern Idaho Aeromodellers is happy to announce we are still continuing as a club in 2024! We still have the flying site (Geisler Field) at our site by the Pocatello Airport and the runway is still working fine. There is still a large, green lawn, still a pit area, still a parking area, and still a wonderful place to fly RC planes and helicopters. We still have the RC car track and it's actively being used for 1/10 scale or smaller cars. Yes, there is still a new powerline at one end of the 400' runway - so you'll have to avoid it! The website is now updated for 2024 and our online signup system is working fine. Hope to see ya'll there on those sunny, summer, Saturday mornings!
