✈️✨ Recognizing Our Community Partners ✨✈️
The Pleasanton Municipal Airport is proud to highlight two outstanding partners who help make our community events and aviation programs a success.

At the January 2026 City Council meeting, Airport Director JJ Roberts presented Certificates of Appreciation to:

👏 Robert & Kristen Tips of Mission Park
Honored “in appreciation of a valuable aviation donation supporting Merry on Main 2025.”
The Tips family also own the iconic red helicopter featured during Merry on Main – Riverpark Wonderland, adding excitement and holiday magic to this year’s celebration.

👏 Todd Levan of Levan Aviation
Recognized “for the valuable contribution and support towards community events and the Pleasanton Municipal Airport.”
As the owner of Levan Aviation, Todd is an essential part of our holiday traditions, piloting the helicopter that brings Santa to events like Cookies with Santa at the Airport and Merry on Main – Riverpark Wonderland.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Tips family and Levan Aviation for their continued support, partnership, and community spirit. Your contributions help our airport and our community reach new heights! 🛩️

Join us this Thursday, December 18, from 5–7 PM at the Pleasanton Municipal Airport for a FREE evening of holiday fun!

Enjoy cookies, milk, hot cocoa, and photos with Santa as we celebrate the season together. 🎁✨ Thanks to the Maldonado Law Group, two lucky children on Santa’s good list will each receive a brand-new bike! 🚲🎄

Santa will be flying in from the North Pole (weather permitting) at 5PM! 🎅✈️❄️

📣 NOTICE OF TEMPORARY SERVICE OUTAGE – DEC 5–6, 2025

We would like to inform our aviation community that QTpod will be conducting scheduled server maintenance Friday, December 5th through Saturday, December 6th. A NOTAM will be issued.

⏱ Maintenance Window (Central Time):
7 PM Friday, Dec. 5th – 10 AM Saturday, Dec. 6th

During this time, Siteminder, credit card processing, and other QTpod services will be offline, and the terminal will not be able to process fuel transactions.
We encourage all pilots and operators to make any necessary arrangements prior to the outage.

✈️ Today, the Pleasanton Airport had a special visit — a Citation private jet and its crew flew all the way from Calgary, Canada, bringing passengers into our community!

Citation jets are high-performance business aircraft, often used by executives and charter groups for fast, direct travel. Having one land in Pleasanton shows just how important our airport is in connecting our community — even internationally!

And of course, they were greeted with some good ol’ South Texas hospitality!

Airport staff is aware of an incident which occurred this morning. The City of Pleasanton Fire Department and the City of Pleasanton Police Department responded and it is being handled.

We know we haven’t posted anything in a while. The staff has been busy conducting inspections on the construction of the two new hangars. The groundbreaking was held late in May of this year, and the contractors have been very busy constructing the hangars. The new water and sewer lines have been installed as part of the improvements to the airport.
