What a week at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference! 🎉

The NC3 team had an incredible time connecting with students, instructors, and industry partners from across the country at our booth. We loved celebrating NC3-certified individuals by handing out exclusive NC3 pins and sharing how industry-recognized certifications help prepare learners for successful careers.

This year, NC3 also delivered professional development for instructors in Snap-on Tools Hand Tool Identification, Safety, and Usage; Starrett Precision Measuring Instruments Modules 1 & 2; Multimeter 525F; 3M Worker Health and Safety Awareness (PPE): Hearing Protection and Head, Eye, & Face Protection; Trane Data Analytics I: Harness the Power of Data; and Festo Didactic North America Introduction to Robotics.

A special highlight was participating in the SkillsUSA immersive experience for the first time. Through this hands-on opportunity, NC3 certified 73 students in 3M Worker Health and Safety Awareness (PPE): Head, Eye, & Face Protection and Hand Tool Identification, Safety, and Usage Modules 1 & 5—giving students the chance to earn valuable credentials while experiencing real-world workforce skills firsthand.

The experience helped me better understand how to communicate effectively, work as part of a team, and handle difficult situations with confidence and professionalism. Equipping the next generation of HVACR professionals with the skills to succeed is vital for our entire industry — and a mission Copeland is committing to supporting.
