🚂 The Depot: Still Transforming, Still Serving, Still Ours
She may still be under renovation, but the Depot is already proving exactly why she matters. Her walls aren’t just being restored — they’re being lived in again.

Just last week, the Class of 1976 brought their 50th reunion after‑party to the Depot, filling the space with laughter, memories, and hometown pride. They even raised $400 toward a commemorative brick to help push the restoration forward. That’s the kind of heart this building inspires.

And in May, CCHS kicked off our “First Saturdays” Farmers Markets, turning the Depot into a lively hub of vendors, artisans, baked goods, produce, and neighbor‑to‑neighbor connection. It’s the perfect space for gatherings big and small, and we’re proud to support both the Class of ’76 and our local makers as they share their talents with the community.

Now we’re gearing up for another moment worth celebrating.

🎉 Juneteenth at the Depot — Saturday, June 13, 2026 • 1-4PM
This Saturday, the Depot comes alive again for our Juneteenth Celebration — an evening of joy, history, and community spirit.

✨ Live Music:
The incomparable Gloria Jean Vann will fill the Depot with her beautiful voice and soul‑stirring songs.

🍗 Food That Feels Like Home:

BBQ Ribs by Rusty May
Fried chicken and mac-n-cheese by Raynette Bennett Lee

Darin Fox returns with his famous brew, always a crowd favorite.

Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your folding chairs — just don’t miss it. The Depot is rising again, and every event, every song, every shared meal is part of her story.

Come out and be part of the fun. The doors are open and the spirit is strong.

✨ Ye Olde Santa Fe Depot is getting new soffits! ✨
Bit by bit, board by board, this grand old building is reclaiming her dignity.
Thanks to our incredible volunteers and supporters, the restoration continues to move forward. Today it’s soffits… tomorrow windows, woodwork, and all the details that bring her history back to life.
Every improvement is a reminder of what a determined community can do together.
Thank you Plattsburg friends old and new. Onward we go — preserving the past, building for the future.
