🛶📚 WHAT A WAY TO WRAP UP 10 YEARS! 💛

Thank you for an incredible final weekend, an amazing season, and a pretty special 10th year of Plainwell Kayak Company!

This weekend, 46 people hit the water to help us celebrate and together, those paddles raised $173 for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Allegan County.

We decided $173 was an awkward place to stop 😉, so we rounded it up to $180 - enough to provide 60 books!

And 60 books is pretty special. That’s enough to provide one child with a book every month from birth all the way to their 5th birthday. 📚❤️

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Allegan County is a program of the Allegan County Community Foundation, helping local kids build their own home libraries and a love of reading from the very beginning.

To everyone who paddled with us this weekend , and everyone who supported us throughout our first season as the new owners , THANK YOU.

Ten years down. A whole lot of river memories made. And we’re already looking forward to what comes next. 🛶☀️

🛶☀️ ONE LAST DAY ON THE RIVER! 📚💛

Yesterday was a GOOD day - 21 boats hit the water! Thank you to everyone who came out to paddle, enjoy the Kalamazoo River, and help us celebrate 10 years of Plainwell Kayak Company.

And now… here we are. The final day of our 10th season. 🥹🛶

This season has been an extra special one - 10 years of Plainwell Kayak Company and our first season as the new owners. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who paddled with us, cheered us on, told a friend, shared a post, or simply stopped by to say hello.

There’s still ONE MORE DAY to get on the water and 10% of today’s booking proceeds will be donated to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Allegan County, a program of the Allegan County Community Foundation. 📚

So grab a friend, grab a paddle, and help us send season #10 out in style!

🛶📚 DAY TWO: PADDLE FOR A PURPOSE! ☀️💦

The day has started, the river is calling, and there’s still time to make your weekend paddle count for something extra!

We’re celebrating the final weekend of our 10th season at Plainwell Kayak Company, and 10% of all booking proceeds this weekend are going to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Allegan County, a program of the Allegan County Community Foundation.

So today’s adventure comes with a bonus: you get some time on the Kalamazoo River AND help put books in the mailboxes of Allegan County kids. 🛶➡️📚

We’d say that’s a pretty great reason to grab your crew and get on the water.
