Just a quick update to start the weekend. I'm a little lost from how I normally do this. I will probably work my way to the bottom and then go back to the top. However I will not work left to right since some of this blue was put in left-handed. I'm starting the morning with a black needle in Minnie's lower ear. It should provide plenty of stitching fun for me today and tomorrow. While I'm out and about today, I will find the color for Minnie's face. Hopefully a lot of stitching today. However, also hopefully a lot of designing tonight.

Hello! We're pretty much done with the design. I started stitching Minnie Mouse last night as we were watching TV. Mom always stitched the ice first. It just worked out that I started with the nose and went over to the eyes. Today, I hope to finish the whites in her eyes and then start working on her face.

Another week has rolled around. It is WIP Wednesday. Let's see what you're working on this week. We have had stitchers generally share their projects. Let's see yours no matter what the medium is.

Of course we're starting with stitching projects. Here's the latest on Minnie Mouse. I just need to design these tulips and I'm ready to start stitching. When I do start, I will start in the nose.

On the Angels logo, it is time for the navy blue. I will start in one place under the light here at home and go all the way around. We'll see how that works.

Hello. Happy Memorial Day weekend. It's a travel day today and I tomorrow. Today my daughter is moving home from school. Tomorrow we might do something fun while she's home for two weeks.

The last couple days have been pretty busy. I did find the brick wall at Disney so here is my interpretation of that. Some flowers will go in behind Minnie and this one will be ready to stitch.

I did get to the bottom of the left side of the A. I'm going to fill that in and start the navy blue this weekend. I was hoping to have it done yesterday, but again, life got in the way. I might give this some time tonight at least to finish up the rest of the red.

Good morning! It is WIP Wednesday. I am really hoping to see more projects this week. Let's see what you're working on either fiber arts or otherwise.

I was able to finish the castle last night. I have to start the brick wall Minnie is sitting on. Then I just have some flowers to add and this one is ready for stitching.

I finished the light red last night. I have not re-threaded the dark red yet. Here's how it looks with the rest of the MLB standings. I was hoping to finish this before the weekend. That might be very optimistic at this point. There's been a couple nights I've not stitched very much. It might be early next week when it's done.

Here is the latest update on the Los Angeles Angels logo. I don't know if I will design or stitch tonight. If I could get Cinderella's castle done tonight, I would love to. I would also like to finish the lighter red so I can go back to the darker red. I'll have an update from the office tomorrow morning.

Hello! It was a good weekend. Not very productive cross stitch wise but still good. The progress that you see on the castle was all from Saturday. It was a good day for watching trains in Rochelle. I got a little progress done on the Angels logo as well Sunday while watching TV. Tonight is Top Chef so we'll see how much gets done tonight. I'm usually pretty distracted during that as well.

Well, I wasn't expecting to be up at this hour. I'm going to Rochelle Railroad Park with my son later today to watch trains. Anyway, here is the latest progress.

The castle is filling in well. I'm hoping to be able to finish this over the weekend. I do have everything ready for the Cars birth announcement. I'm ready to go with that as soon as I finish this.

I got some significant red done on the right side of the Angels logo. At this rate, I may also finish that by the end of the weekend and be ready for some navy blue to surround it as well as the gray halo.

Hello! I had some good stitching time yesterday. I pushed it right up to my 50 stitch limit. I don't know if I will get that lucky today. It's a long day as I'm prepping to go into the office. Here is yesterday's progress.

By the way, if you didn't see yesterday's post, Caron shared her WIPs. She's very talented. I've seen her stitching before. Definitely go back and take a look. She's not working on a Colored Pencil Designs piece at this time, but I really like the designs that she chooses, especially this latest one with the shells. She has also shown at the Sandwich Fair and I have seen her work up close. She does a great job!

I don't know about you, but it seems like this WIP Wednesday got here a little quickly this week. Let's see what you're working on. Again, I don't care if it's something not fabric arts related. Let's see what you're working on!

We'll start with a soft reveal of Minnie mouse. I still want to put a background in behind her, but Minnie is done. I still need to put some good work on this design for the next couple days so I can start my Cars birth announcement over the weekend.

As for the Angels logo, here is the latest progress. I'm filling in some of the lighter red, but I didn't work on it very much last night.
