Two flags. One historic flight. 🇮🇪🇺🇸

Last week Aer Lingus' inaugural nonstop service between Pittsburgh and Dublin officially took flight, marked by a special tradition as Irish and American flags waved proudly from the aircraft's windows before departure.

More than just a new route, this flight strengthens the connection between Ireland and Pittsburgh while opening the door to countless adventures across Europe.

From the Steel City to the Emerald Isle, we're proud to celebrate this new bridge between our two cities. ☘️✈️

From Irish dancers and live music, the launch of Aer Lingus' new nonstop service to Dublin was a celebration.

This new route gives travelers nonstop access to Ireland while also opening the door to connections across Europe, creating exciting opportunities for tourism, business and cultural exchange throughout our region.
