Fraport USA joined the Building Queens Conference as a sponsor and project showcase presenter, highlighting the transformation underway at JFK Terminal 5 and our work to reimagine the concessions and customer experience. Congratulations to Ben Guttmann and the Queens Economic Development Corporation team on a successful event, and thank you to Kathryn Garcia and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards for their opening remarks.

It was also a wonderful opportunity to connect with industry colleagues, including members of the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) NY/NJ chapter, and share in their conversations shaping the future of Queens.

Fraport Nashville LLC is excited to announce the fresh collection of dining, retail and entertainment experiences that will be coming to Concourse A at Nashville International Airport® (BNA®), further expanding the airport’s award-winning conversions program and creating more opportunities for travelers to experience the spirit of Music City before they even leave the terminal.

Travelers of Concourse A will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse mix of food, beverage and retail concepts, including:

• Chief’s: Country star Eric Church’s Broadway bar, reimagined as a full-service restaurant, bringing Nashville’s signature hospitality to the airport.
• Hawkers: Florida-based Asian street food restaurant, expanding its presence in Nashville.
• Burger Republic: Local favorite known for gourmet hamburgers and local craft b**r.
• Dunkin’ After Dark: Massachusetts-based coffee giant’s first Nashville airport location, featuring all-day coffee and a first of its kind bar serving alcoholic beverages.
• Freshens: Healthy fast-casual fare with acai bowls, flatbreads, and salads to-go.
• Nashville Remix: Travel essentials, bottle shop, tasting bar and photo opportunity
• Greatest Hits: Music-themed apparel and gift shop, a sister store to Nashville Jam Session located at T-Gates

The lineup represents another step forward in Fraport USA’s vision for an airport concessions program that is not only convenient for travelers but also connected to the community — making the journey through BNA part of the Nashville experience itself.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, aviation professionals, and countless individuals who answered the call in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We honor the victims, their families, the survivors, and the heroes whose acts of courage and compassion helped a nation heal. We also recognize the enduring resilience of the communities forever changed by that day.

As members of the aviation community, we reflect on the resilience, unity, and strength that emerged in the days and years that followed.

The Fraport New York team, in partnership with JetBlue and the commercial partners of JFK Terminal 5, celebrated back-to-school by donating over 2,000 school bags to students in Queens and Nassau County! 🎒

We joined forces with Community Leaders, Elected Officials and local schools to help students start their year strong—with school bags and supplies. Thank you to our incredible volunteers and everyone who supported and connected us with schools and organizations

The Fraport Newark team attended the Newark Back to School Bookbag Drive with over 500 participants. A day giving back to the community and opportunity to meet new community partners. Thank you for the Newark Board of Education for hosting a fantastic event.

The Fraport Cleveland Team welcomed a group of guest speakers to share the valuable insights of the evolving sustainability program that includes composting, glass and cardboard recycling and innovative waste diversion efforts. The CLE Environmental team led an engaging discussion on the CLE Sustainability Management plan and a comprehensive overview of the current waste management systems. The team also welcomed members from the Rust Belt Riders Composting team to share the waste diversion through composting and the positive output of nutrient- rich soil from the airport food scraps.

It's great to see the Fraport Cleveland team, the tenants and the wonderful speakers for their participation and collaboration as they make strides towards reducing wasted and making Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) more sustainable.
