Not every piano move goes according to plan. 😅

Yesterday, this beautiful Boston grand piano was headed to the second floor of a Pittsburgh home. At first, we thought the inside staircase was the toughest part… until we discovered the piano wouldn’t clear a low bulkhead at the top. That meant bringing it all the way back down and finding another way.

So we took the piano around the side of the house instead. Tight alleyways, rough ground, and a staircase that led directly into a wall made this move anything but easy.

But challenges like this are exactly why experience matters. In the end, the piano made it safely to its new home, exactly where the customer wanted it. 🎹💪

Our customers often ask how we would move furniture that does not fit into an elevator or up a flight of stairs, so we decided to create this video as a visual reference. To be clear, we do not recommend hosting large furniture by yourself and we always recommend hiring a professional. However, due to the overwhelming questions that we have been receiving, we created this visual representation to explain how a professional mover would perform this task. Truck Drivers:
We train all of our truck drivers to ensure we have the best drivers on the road, so no experience is necessary. Non-CDL truck drivers are responsible for safe operation of the moving trucks, on site customer service, oversight of the moving crews, loading and unloading of the trucks, and proper completion of all paperwork. All applicants must have a valid driver's license. Prior to being hired all applicants are required to pass a background check and drug test.

Movers, Laborers, and Helpers:
We train all of our movers and helpers, so no experience is necessary. Our movers and helpers are responsible for assisting truck drivers with loading and unloading the moving trucks. All applicants must work well as a team, have reliable transportation to and from work, and a strong work ethic. Prior to being hired all applicants are required to pass a background check and drug test.
