From day one, I’ve poured as much love and life as I could into my daughter. Watching her grow into who she’s becoming is truly amazing. My only hope is that she continues to shine and stay true to herself. In a world that’s constantly telling young women who and how to be, I am teaching her how to define that for herself 🤎✨

Happy 11th birthday to my baby girl, Hayven 💕✨

Time is flying by way too fast, and watching her grow this past year has been everything. She’s becoming such a beautiful, smart, fierce, and determined young lady, and I’m so incredibly proud of her.

Watching her personality shine, her independence grow, and her confidence build has been the biggest blessing. She amazes me every single day, and I can’t wait to see all the incredible things the future has in store for her 🥰

These new-age grandparents are something else 🤦🏾‍♀️ They were strict on us as kids, but these grandbabies can get away with anything 😂 Love my mom to death though ❤️

Disclaimer: This was hust a prank! My kid’s a straight-A student—never cheated, never failed 🤣

2016 almost broke me.

I was struggling in every way financially, emotionally, and mentally. I was a new mom, fresh out of a toxic relationship, barely making rent, and quietly convinced I was failing my child.

I didn’t always look like what I was going through. But inside, I was drowning. Looking back still hurts, but I celebrate that version of me. Because she survived.

What I know now is this. Hard seasons don’t mean you’re weak. They mean you’re being shaped. In 2017, I quit my job with no plan… just faith and a few dollars, and everything changed.

If you’re surviving a season you don’t recognize yourself in, don’t give up. The version of you on the other side will thank you. ❤️

Took her to the . Let her explore, and so did I.

📍Mom tip: Use your cards to get free tickets to a bunch of family-friendly spots through the Discover & Go program, this museum included. Makes planning a day out so easy.

Kids don’t need to “get” art. Just being there is enough 🖤

Travel days already ask a lot of us, but my skincare doesn’t need to.

This is my bare-minimum, carry-on-only skincare routine. No 10 steps. No full vanity. Just what my skin actually needs to stay calm from TSA to the hotel.

These are my go-to travel staples from that are made with real, sustainably sourced ingredients that actually work, and easy to keep up with on the road.

Are you a carry-on-only traveler, or do you check a bag with all your skincare products? ✈️

7 things I ACTUALLY do when planning a big family vacation 👌🏽

1️⃣ I start planning early
Big trips take time. Our next big trip is in October, but I started planning back in July. Starting early gives me more options, more flexibility, and more time to save.

2️⃣ I plan the trip backwards
I don’t pick a destination first. I look at timing, budget, and what we want out of the trip, THEN choose a place that makes sense.

3️⃣ I set a realistic budget
Flights, lodging, food, transportation, excursions, spending money, pet sitters… it all adds up quickly. I want to know the real number upfront and include EVERYTHING in my travel budget.

4️⃣ I check the best time to visit
Weather, crowds, and local holidays matter. U.S. vacation season doesn’t always line up with the best time to go elsewhere.

5️⃣ I check the best time to book
Prices change a lot. Sometimes booking early saves money, sometimes waiting does. I watch trends, set pricing alerts, and look for upcoming sales before committing to any major travel booking.

6️⃣ I research alternative travel options
Sometimes a cruise is cheaper than flying and booking a hotel. Sometimes an Airbnb makes the most sense. I compare everything and adjust as needed.

7️⃣ I use points, cash-back, and deals
From airline miles to hotel points, from debit card offers for cash-back to loyalty member discounts when I book through certain places…. I check everything, and sometimes ending up saving hundreds 👌🏽
