Sometimes you have to stop haunting the locals to grab a coke and a smile! This session with Kate and Chelsea is going to be boooyoutiful!

I've been shooting so many Halloween sessions with season and I'm soooooo excited to edit and share their galleries but I had to post a little preview today. The planning process for each session can be time consuming; from curating custom wardrobe pieces and accessories that bring the theme to life to scouting perfect locations for each look, I spend months preparing for spooky season sessions and I love every single second!

This past week I prepared the studio for one gorgeous Marie Antoinette themed session with Adalee Atwood, drove to Kentucky to shoot a masquerade ball themed session with at the gorgeous Murphy Estate, and shot another fairy session for my fairy collection with Addison Humphrey in historic Rugby. And I'm already obsessed with these sessions!

A little peek...

I am sooooo excited to work with this beautiful girl this year and am so happy to have her in my ambassador program! For her mini portrait session, we shot in the historic downtown area of Somerset, KY and I'm so happy with her final gallery. I cannot wait for all of the adventures we're going to have this year!

Jenna Phillips | Mommy and Me

Isn't this just the sweetest little mommy and me session?! I had so much fun working with Jenna and Vivi at their family's farm as summer came to a close.

Adysan Douglas | Portrait Session
18th birthday
AMP Studios

Adysan will celebrate her 18th birthday tomorrow and I'm so happy I was able to work her into my schedule for a session. Having her on my ambassador team over the last several years has been such a blessing and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. Not only is she gorgeous, but she's literally the sweetest person on the planet. When she sent me the concept photos for her 18th birthday shoot, I began planning the layout immediately and I'm so happy with the way it all came together! Happy early birthday Adysan! I hope your day is absolutely amazing!

Bailey is absolutely stunning and I had a blast shooting the first portion of her senior session in my fave location at Rock Creek in Yamacraw, KY. The light is always perfect but it was even more so on her shoot day and I'm obsessed with this preview! I cannot wait to shoot part two with her later this season.

It's always nice to shoot portrait sessions in the studio and my recent shoot with Gavin may be one of my faves ever! A mix of natural and studio light is always a vibe and I love the variety it gives my clients in their final portfolios. A little preview from his session...

Ray Peel and Lacey Abbott
Couple Session
Historic Rugby, TN

I absolutely loved working with this beautiful couple! Rugby in late summer is stunning but not as stunning as Ray and Lacey. They danced and played among the flowers and I absolutely love their session!

The first time Lily stepped in front of my camera she was 14 years old. We've shared so many adventures together over the years and it has been such a joy to watch her grow into the amazing woman she is today. Being invited back into her life to shoot her wedding was such a blessing and I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that the little girl I once knew is now a wife and mother. Her and Mitchell's wedding day was perfect in every possible way and Timber Rock Lodge was the perfect backdrop (just look at that waterfall!!)
A little preview from their magical day...
