🔧 100% Pass! 🚍👏

Today, our fleet successfully passed its annual Motor Carrier bus inspection with a 100% pass rate!

This accomplishment is a direct reflection of the hard work and dedication of our incredible maintenance team—Joel, Caleb, and Bob. Day in and day out, they work behind the scenes to keep our buses safe, reliable, and ready to serve the communities that depend on us. Their attention to detail and commitment to preventative maintenance help ensure our passengers and drivers can travel with confidence every day.

A sincere thank you to South Dakota Motor Carrier for conducting today's inspection. We appreciate the professionalism and partnership that helps keep public transportation operating safely across our state.

Getting around Wall and the surrounding communities has never been easier.

Whether you're traveling locally, heading to a medical appointment in Rapid City, or visiting Ft. Meade, River Cities Public Transit is here to help with safe, reliable, and affordable transportation.

✅ In-town service Tuesday–Friday
✅ Service within a 20-mile radius of Wall, including Quinn, Wasta, and Cottonwood
✅ Pre-scheduled rides starting at just $2 one-way
✅ Rapid City service every Wednesday for only $10 round trip
✅ ADA-accessible transportation available

📞 Reservations are required for out-of-town trips. Call 605-279-2430 to schedule your ride.

🍎🚌 Back-to-School Registration is Now Open! 🚌🍎

The first day of school will be here before you know it! If your child will be riding with River Cities Public Transit this school year, now is the time to register.

📅 Want your child to ride during the first week of school?
Please complete registration by August 12 to ensure we have time to finalize routes and schedules.

📌 All students must register, even if they will begin riding later in the school year.

Our goal is to provide safe, reliable transportation that helps our youth get where they need to be—whether it's school, after-school programs, or other destinations.

Haakon County Prairie Transit, operated by River Cities Public Transit, provides safe, reliable transportation throughout Philip and surrounding communities.

Whether you're heading across town, to a medical appointment, shopping, visiting family, or traveling to Pierre, Rapid City, Ft. Meade, Kadoka, Midland, Wanblee, Belvidere, or Kyle, we're ready to help get you there.

✅ Affordable fares
✅ ADA-accessible vehicles available
✅ Medicaid transportation accepted
✅ Free rides available for eligible Veterans in highly rural counties
✅ Service available Monday–Friday, with weekend trips available when scheduled in advance

📅 Medical appointments must be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM MT.

⏰ Service Hours:
Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Pre-scheduled 48 hours in advance
