You have to choose one:

A beautiful room with a private plunge pool....but the beach is just okay

OR

A more basic room....but the beach is absolutely unreal

I’m usually choosing the better beach. I love a gorgeous room, but I didn’t fly all that way to spend the entire trip inside it.

Unless we’re talking about an overwater bungalow…then I may need to review the evidence 😅

JUST BOOKED: the first high school graduation getaway of the season! 🎓🌴✨

And honestly, Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun could not scream “I GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL!” any louder. 😂 This graduate will be celebrating in a dreamy swim-out suite with an adults-only vibe, multiple pools, a lazy river, tons of restaurants and bars, and plenty of entertainment....all at a gorgeous all-inclusive resort in Costa Mujeres!!

It’s the perfect mix for this kind of celebration: relaxing when they want to, plenty happening when they don’t, endless food options, and absolutely no need to leave the resort unless they want to. Add in that swim-out suite, and this graduation trip is officially going to be one for the books!

Friendly reminder: it is NOT too early to start planning senior trips and summer getaways. Graduation season is incredibly popular, and the best resorts, room categories, and flights will go quickly.

Winter getaways are one of those things that feel far away - until suddenly the best resorts, room categories, and flight options are already disappearing.

Planning now gives us more choices, more flexibility, and plenty of time to create a trip that actually fits your travel style. Maybe that’s an adults-only all-inclusive where your biggest decision is pool or beach. Maybe it’s a boutique island escape filled with incredible food, hidden cocktail spots, and just enough adventure between lazy mornings.

Either way, future you will be very happy to have something warm and wonderful waiting on the calendar. ✈️

And honestly, giving my clients their time back is one of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor.

Whew, I have been BUSY booking some seriously dreamy getaways this week....and we’re kicking things off with a birthday trip to one of my personal favorites: Almare in Isla Mujeres! 🌴🥂

This sweet couple will be escaping to Mexico for four nights at a gorgeous adults-only, all-inclusive resort with incredible food, dreamy pools, beautiful beaches, and all the relaxing birthday energy they could possibly need. Add in an easy nonstop flight from Phoenix, and this is exactly the kind of effortless tropical getaway I love putting together!

I’m SO excited for them to experience Almare firsthand...especially because it’s a resort I have personally stayed at, loved, and couldn’t wait to recommend. There is just something extra special about sending clients somewhere you already know they’re going to fall in love with! ✈️☀️

Next up: sunshine, ocean views, and a very happy birthday in Isla Mujeres! 🎉

Hear me out: What if your Thanksgiving plans included an ocean view, room service, and absolutely no dishes?

If you’re considering using the holiday weekend for a warm-weather escape, these are four destinations I’d put on the list:

ARUBA

Great for beautiful beaches, reliable sunshine, fun restaurants, and an easygoing island experience that doesn’t require spending your entire trip at the resort.

CURAÇAO

Perfect if you want colorful culture, hidden coves, snorkeling, street art, and plenty to explore between beach days.

CANCUN OR RIVIERA MAYA

One of the easiest options from Phoenix, with everything from smaller adults-only properties to luxurious family-friendly all-inclusives.

CABO

Ideal for gorgeous resorts, dramatic desert-meets-ocean scenery, fantastic restaurants, and a long weekend that feels a little extra fancy.

Thanksgiving is premium travel time, so I won’t pretend it’s the week to find bargain-basement prices. But the right destination, travel dates, and resort can make a huge difference.

If you would happily trade cooking and cleanup for cocktails and a beach chair this year, let’s start looking at what’s possible.

The resort can be gorgeous but it still needs to feel like it was chosen for you.
