Late last night, the Phoenix City Council decided to re-evaluate high-capacity transit options for west Phoenix, prioritizing the proposed West Phoenix corridor along Indian School Road. Time is running out to provide input on how transit will reach west Phoenix. Share your thoughts on the Capitol and I-10 West Light Rail Extensions projects ahead of a critical Phoenix City Council vote on Jan. 27.
The Phoenix City Council will either adopt an updated Capitol Extension route as the first step to extend light rail to west Phoenix via the I-10 West Light Rail Extension, or re-evaluate high-capacity transit alternatives to serve west Phoenix.
