Pennsylvania drivers need to put down their cellphone and most electronic devices while driving or risk a $50 ticket. A new law that takes effect June 5, 2025 expands the ban to all handheld device use while driving.

A driver may use an interactive mobile device if the driver moves the vehicle to the side of or off a highway and halts in a location where the vehicle can safely remain stationary.

The hands-free law allows for an emergency use exception if it is necessary to communicate with a law enforcement official or other emergency service to prevent injury to persons or property.

The texting ban does NOT include the use of a GPS device or a system or device that is physically or electronically integrated into the vehicle, or a communications device that is affixed to a mass transit vehicle, bus or school bus.

I wanted to thank you for your excellent service for our Kids' Day Event on May 17. The day started with rain, but then the heavens parted, and we had a wonderful day. We had hundreds of kids attend and each one had a teen buddy who spent the day with them. They had an absolute BLAST! I attached some photos below.

International Roadcheck, May 13-15, 2025 ⚠️👮🏻‍♂️🚌. What is the driver focus area? During the driver portion of an inspection they check hours-of-service, driver’s documents, license, medical exam certificate, drug & alcohol clearinghouse status, and seatbelt usage. What is the vehicle focus area? During International Roadcheck, inspectors will check tire tread depth and proper inflation. They will also look for tire damage such as air leaks, cuts, bulges, and sidewall damage. Be prepared & be safe.

Happy National Cheesesteak Day!🥖🥩🧀🧅🤗

The Philly Cheesesteak originated in 1930 by Pat Olivieri (Pat's King of Steaks), a hotdog vendor, who threw beef on his grill to make a sandwich. A passing cab driver asked for one too, and soon Olivieri had a following.

A cheesesteak begins with a long roll and continues with thinly sliced sautéed rib-eye, melted cheese and, as often as not, griddled onions. These days you have a choice of beef or chicken, several different types of cheese, and so many condiments to choose from. You can also get a cheesesteak hoagie.
