This was a beast to both complete and to get everything to come together just so. It’s part of the ’s permanent collection Pre-Rafaelite gallery. 

Firstly, it’s a 10’ tall by 3’ deep freestanding wall. On one side, it has a platform attached to it which has a pedestal case (that bisects the platform) along with a reader rail and another small riser. Above it, there’s a stained glass window that’s inset behind the wall surface which has a dimmable custom built LED light panel behind it.

The other side has a 5’ x 4’ display case set into it. The case has a ⅜” tempered glass door that locks. There’s 4 LED light fixtures which are all aimable, dimmable and color temperature selectable. Inside there are four separate risers and a floating back panel that’s wallpapered.

The reader rail was fabricated and installed by . Vinyl lettering, mounts and art installation by the staff and their freelancers. And the whole thing was designed by and curated by and Margaretta Frederick.
