Are you qualified for the "ParaTransit Driving Position"?
Please read below to see if you are eligible:
Qualifications:
• Must Possess valid driver’s license for minimum of (3) years (current)
• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must meet our minimum requirements for criminal record (Conviction will not necessarily disqualify from employment.)
(Nationwide and state criminal background are required)
• Clean motor vehicle record
• Must speak, read and write English fluently
• Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions
• Ability to interact with a diverse population
• Required to pass a map test and knowledge of Philadelphia area (Must)
• Required to complete all necessary training
Medical and Physical Exam Requirements:
• Must pass a DOT physical exam
• Must pass an FTA compliant pre-employment drug / alcohol screen
• Must comply with Edens Drug and Alcohol Policy
• Ability to lift minimum of fifty (50) pounds
• Assist passengers in wheel chairs when transferring
• Assist all passengers door to door service
• Ability to sit for long periods of time while operating a vehicle
