Yes, I’m the one who stops in the middle of the path to film a flower.

And the sunset. And the Pitons. And that perfect shade of blue water I swear I’ve never seen before (I have, many times).

It’s just how I love life. I don’t want to rush past the good stuff.

If the kids are grown and you’re finally saying yes to the trips you put off for years, I hope you slow down too. Stop for the sunset. Take the picture. Soak up this season, because it’s a really good one.

Empty nest season hits different.

I’ve spent years building a marketing business I love (still do, every single day) and raising two kids who are now off living their own adventures.

Turns out it’s our turn too. So I’m making room for the things that set me on fire. New beaches, new sunsets, new people, new stories.
