Planning Disney for a party of 12 comes with a lot of moving pieces, especially when it’s time to coordinate dining reservations! Megan didn’t need more tabs open or another list to manage. She needed someone who understood the details, could make a plan, and would be in her corner when the overwhelm started creeping in.

That’s one part of this work I love most: not simply making reservations, but helping the mom who usually carries all the details to finally exhale and enjoy the vacation, too.

The difference isn’t whether Disney can help, it’s how personal that help is.

When my clients text me, they’re not starting over with someone new. I already know who’s traveling, what they’re celebrating, why we chose their resort, and what we’ve planned together.

I keep seeing the reminder that their childhood is also our motherhood, and goodness gracious! As a mom of four, myself (ages 4 to 15), that one goes straight to the heart.

Because as parents, we get to be an active part of building the land of their childhood.

We help fill it with the places they’ll remember, the traditions they’ll ask to repeat and the stories our families will tell for years. Family travel can be such a meaningful part of that - not because every trip has to be big or elaborate, but because stepping away from everyday routines gives us space to experience something new together.

When we think about traveling with our children, we often wonder whether they’re old enough. Will they remember it? Will they appreciate it? Would it be better to wait?

But their memories aren’t the only ones being made.

You’ll remember the way their little hand felt in yours walking down Main Street. The first time they saw the castle. The character they couldn’t stop talking about. The ride that quietly became a family tradition to ride first (looking at you, Pirates of the Caribbean!). One of the greatest compliments I can receive isn’t *just* that someone had an amazing vacation.

It’s hearing that they didn’t have to worry about a thing while they were there.

When Becca and her husband reached out to celebrate their 10th anniversary, we dreamed up a trip that balanced adventure with plenty of time to simply enjoy being together. Spoiler alert: There isn’t just one kind of vacation.

And then there are the vacations that don’t need a reason at all…just the realization that time together is worth making room for.

That’s what I love most about what I do.

Every itinerary is different because every family is different. The destination matters, of course, but what matters even more is the stories you’ll tell and the memories you’ll carry when you return home. Some last a lifetime.
