⚠️ Heads Up, Drivers – Major Winter Storm Ahead ⚠️

From Friday (Jan 23) through Monday (Jan 26), Winter Storm Fern is expected to impact much of the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast. This storm will bring a mix of ice, snow, and dangerously cold temperatures, creating hazardous driving conditions across multiple regions.

❄️ Why This Storm Matters:
This system has the potential to make roads slick, reduce visibility, and significantly increase stopping distances—especially in areas that don’t see ice often. Conditions may change quickly, and refreezing overnight will be a major concern.

🧊 Biggest Concerns Include:
• Ice buildup in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic
• Snow-covered roads farther north
• Roads refreezing after precipitation ends
• Power outages leading to dark roads and non-working signals

🛣️ Areas to Watch Closely:
Drivers traveling along I-95, I-85, I-40, I-77, I-81, and through Appalachian routes should expect delays and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

🚛 Safety Reminders for the Road:
✔️ Slow down sooner than usual

- Home Daily (Monday to Friday, optional Saturday Work)
- Round Trip Lanes pulling Containers, Drop and Hook
- Most loads are short miles. Brunswick, GA to Garden City, GA
- Two runs daily, occasionally 3 loads. Need a minimum of 10 turns per week.
-TWIC card required

Today, we would like to introduce the incredible team behind our Spotting Service!
These dedicated professionals play a crucial role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
A spotting Service Clerk is an essential role in logistics and transportation, primarily responsible for coordinating and assisting with the safe and efficient movement of containers within a yard or facility. This role focuses more on operational support and ensuring the smooth flow of goods and equipment within a facility, while working closely with yard drivers (jockeys) and other team members.
From maneuvering containers safely within our yard and to/from the loading dock, to coordinating traffic flow and maintaining a safe environment. Their responsibilities are essential in ensuring the daily operations of our logistics and transportation run without a hitch.
Each team member brings expertise, hard work, and a commitment to safety that makes a difference every day.
