These are great last minute cruise deals!! This quote was for 2 rooms - 4 adults and 1 kid. That’s an amazing price for Balcony rooms! 2 adults is under $800 - Royal Caribbean out of Long Beach in May.

CRUISE NEWS:

In case you don’t know: FYI

If you take a cruise with any child 16 years or older; they must have a Passport or a Birth Certificate and a Govt. issued photo ID.

For cruises departing from U.S. homeports and returning to a US port (closed loop cruises); children aged 16 and older, along with adults, need a government-issued photo ID (like a driver's license or state ID) in addition to a birth certificate or other proof of citizenship.

I always personally carry our social security cards on me too. There is a safe in the room. I would rather have everything we might need if something were to happen.

We also ALWAYS get travel protection with Medical Evacuation coverage. It’s worth the peace of mind.

Children under 16 only need a birth certificate or similar document or a Passport. The birth certificate must be an original or an official copy with a raised seal.

Do not just take a student ID. Even if someone at the cruise line says it’s ok, it’s not. Take your child to the DMV for a photo ID if they don’t have a driver’s license.

It’s not worth risking it and your child being turned away at boarding. This recently happened to a family taking a cruise out of FL. It was on the news.
