Pekin Municipal Airport has been named the Illinois General Aviation Airport of the Year! This is the first time Pekin has won this award. We look forward to building off of this and continuing to provide an exceptional General Aviation experience for Pekin and the surrounding communities.

We have our first Flea Market of the year tomorrow from 8:00 until 4:00! El Chapero Taco Truck will be serving lunch. South Pekin will also be having their townwide sales this weekend!

While we were not able to host our Santa event this year, we were still able to help a local family have hopefully a better Christmas in this difficult year. We look forward to be able to host Santa again next year and help more local families!

With the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases we are cancelling Santa at the Pekin Airport for this year. The purpose of this event has been to provide a fun experience for area children and to give back. While the event is cancelled, we will be working with the Pekin Police Department to make Christmas brighter for some local families.
