We came through here during our trek. The steps to the right lead up to the trading post. The overhang to the left is where you pick up food. Over the white truck and down that slope is where we hung out, had lunch that day as we resupplied

This is a 360° view at Ute Gulch. We are very thankful that the commissary stands but you can see that the fire came very close.

When the crew went to Philmont in June of 2014 we had 10 scouts; 3 were Eagle Scouts at the time; Ben, Matthew, and Kyle.

Since then Luke, Robert, Keegan, and William have also attained their Eagle Scout rank.

The month Jordan wrapped up his and should have his Eagle BOR in August.

Final Reminder - Troop 525 - 30th Anniversary Celebration - BE THERE - Sign up NOW

Scouts, Scouters, and Friends of Scouting – On October 11 at Simpsonwood United Methodist Church, Troop 525, guests and friends will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Scouting at SUMC. If you haven’t already marked your calendar for this gala event, please do so now and let us know that you plan to attend. Dinner will be a grand catered event by Macaroni Grill that you will surely enjoy, and we’ve planned a wonderful program to look back at our past 30 years, with a glimpse into the future of scouting at SUMC.
