Our dock doesnt need bubblers. We have hundreds of them that stay left in and get completely froze in.

Preparing for retirement, Tony Crego has invested for years in his property on Maiden Lane in Henrietta Township. He installed a permanent dock on Lake Pleasant and later added a bubbler to protect it and prevent the water from freezing around it.

It became an issue when lake residents began to see open water during the winter months, when the lake is expected to completely freeze. Henrietta Township is now weighing a new ordinance that would prohibit the use of bubblers in all township lakes.
