I knew visiting the Puglia and Basilicata region would be beautiful — but I didn’t expect it to feel this special. 🇮🇹✨
This trip was filled with the kinds of moments that stay with you long after you leave: waking up with the whitewashed village of Ostuni stretching out in front of us, getting completely lost in the magic of , wandering through the trulli-lined streets of Alberobello, and sharing incredible wine and meals that somehow lasted for hours.
One of my absolute favorite moments was driving through the countryside in vintage Alfa Romeos— olive groves, stone walls, and little villages passing by with the warm coastal air all around us. It felt like stepping into another era. We stopped at . The most peaceful, authentic Masseria along the way.
Another unforgettable evening was a sunset cruise near Monopoli, watching the coastline glow as the sun disappeared into the sea. One of those moments where everything just felt still and perfect.
Then came Matera — a place I can’t stop thinking about. Staying and walking those ancient stone streets at night felt surreal and deeply emotional in a way I didn’t expect.
We ended our visit in Maratea where the sea, cliffs, and sunsets gave us the perfect ending to an unforgettable journey. Life seemed to slow down in the best possible way.
As a travel advisor, I’m always searching for places that feel authentic, inspiring, and worth sharing with clients.
This trip reminded me that the best travel experiences aren’t just about where you stay — they’re about how a place makes you feel. 🤍
One of the best parts of traveling is the people you meet along the way. This trip brought together an incredible group, and I can’t thank our hosts enough for making it so memorable. Grateful to have left not only with amazing experiences, but also with new friendships and partnerships that I know will last well beyond the trip. 💛
