Infrastructure like an airport is a public treasure -- here's a lookback to the recovery from Hurricane Michael when drinking water and meals were delivered to the people of Wakulla County at the people's airport.

Particularly in this part of the county, with annual hurricane seasons which strike on the coast, the people deserve to have continued disaster relief capabilities!

Congratulations to TMH and Survival Flight for their one-year anniversary! Lives have been saved -- including in our community -- thanks to rapid air transport in medical emergencies. It's great to have air ambulance back in Tallahassee!

EAA Chapter 445 meets at the Wakulla County Airport. They are bringing back to life a classic Ercoupe at 2J0 - this aircraft has a long legacy in Wakulla County - and generously shared photos from their work, culminating in a recent high-speed taxi demo!

The county commission will be considering whether to renew the license for the people's airport tomorrow. The people of Wakulla County deserve continued access to air ambulance, disaster relief, search and rescue, and a strong national defense -- all of which is accomplished at our local airport!
