Collaboration and community partnerships were at the forefront of the October 13 Manatee County Port Authority meeting at SeaPort Manatee’s International Trade Hub!

The meeting brought together our county commissioners and featured presentations from Samaritan’s Purse and AGS AGUNSA, highlighting the organizations and partnerships that strengthen our community and support the work underway at the port. Port Authority members also discussed key business matters and considered motions to support SeaPort Manatee’s continued progress.

We’re proud to bring partners and community leaders together to keep our port moving forward, strengthen connections, and support economic growth throughout Manatee County and beyond!

A smoother road ahead for SeaPort Manatee!

Repaving is underway at our South Gate, made possible by funding from the Florida Job Growth Grant. This investment supports critical infrastructure improvements that keep our port moving and strengthen our ability to serve our tenants, partners, and the broader community.

As SeaPort Manatee continues to grow, investments like these build a stronger foundation for the future, supporting efficient port operations and contributing to Florida’s continued economic growth.

Strong regional economies grow through strong connections.

On September 30, Seaport Manatee welcomed Economic Development Corporation of Bradenton and Sarasota County leaders to the International Hub to discuss how trade, infrastructure, and collaboration drive regional growth.

We met with Joshua R. Ewen, Vice President; Erin Silk, President & CEO in Sarasota; and Shirar O’Connor, President & CEO in Bradenton. We shared details about port operations, infrastructure investments, and efforts to move cargo safely and efficiently across the region.

Through infrastructure upgrades and innovations in port security and operations, Seaport Manatee invests in the people, partnerships, and facilities connecting our region to global commerce.

We appreciate the opportunity to connect with regional economic development leaders and look forward to continuing the conversation!
