A Dynamic Facilitator of Global Commerce

The Oxford Group USA and the BSWFCC – Brazilian Southwest Florida Chamber of Commerce were received by Ambassador André Odenbreit, current Consul General of Brazil in Miami, who is concluding his diplomatic mission in Florida to assume a new international role as Brazil’s Ambassador to Thailand.

The meeting represented an important institutional and diplomatic moment, reinforcing the strong relationship built over the years between the Consulate General of Brazil in Miami, Oxford Group USA, BSWFCC, and the Brazilian business community throughout Florida.

Throughout his tenure as Brazil’s diplomatic representative in Miami, Ambassador André Odenbreit visited the Oxford Brazilian International Place on several occasions. The facility, located within the International Trade Hub at SeaPort Manatee, has become an important platform for business internationalization, institutional relations, and economic integration between Brazil and the United States.

During his visits, the Ambassador participated in institutional meetings, business gatherings, strategic events, and initiatives focused on supporting Brazilian companies expanding into the American market. He closely followed the growth of the operations and activities developed by Oxford Group USA and BSWFCC within the port structure.

The Oxford Brazilian International Place has increasingly established itself as a strategic international business hub for Brazilian companies in the United States, bringing together corporate infrastructure, institutional networking, commercial development, strategic support, and connections between Brazilian and American business leaders.

During the occasion in Miami, special recognition was given to Ambassador André Odenbreit for his continuous support of the initiatives promoted by Oxford Group USA and BSWFCC, an organization in which he had the honor of serving as Honorary President. Throughout the years, he consistently demonstrated strong support for projects focused on economic development, business expansion, and the strengthening of bilateral relations between Brazil and the United States.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of the institutional partnership developed between the Consulate General of Brazil in Miami and the initiatives carried out at SeaPort Manatee, recognizing the positive impact generated by Oxford Group USA and BSWFCC for the Brazilian business community in Florida.
To honor this important diplomatic and institutional moment, the entire Chamber board traveled to Miami as a gesture of respect, recognition, and appreciation for Ambassador André Odenbreit’s work and contribution to strengthening the institutional and economic ties between Brazil and the United States.

Oxford Group USA and BSWFCC wish Ambassador André Odenbreit continued success in this new international chapter of his diplomatic career and are confident that he will continue representing Brazil with excellence while strengthening strategic global connections around the world.

Rustless Presents Corrosion-Delay Technology During Visit to Port Manatee and Signs Agreement with Oxford Group Representatives of Rustless visited the International Hub at Port Manatee through Oxford Group USA to formalize an agreement with Oxford Group and present their proprietary corrosion-delay technology with potential applications in the U.S. market.

Present at the port were the company’s managing partner, Francisco Manuel, and his assistant, Nery Fernandes, who participated in a strategic agenda that included institutional meetings, the ex*****on of an agreement with Oxford Group, and technical presentations regarding the company’s patented technology.

During the visit, the delegation held a meeting with Troy Layton, Director of Business Development at SeaPort Manatee, who presented the port’s strategic capabilities and participated in discussions regarding possible applications of the technology in maritime, industrial and logistics environments.

Rustless presented its internationally patented technology as capable of delaying rust and corrosion by two to three times across multiple types of metals, offering potential value for infrastructure protection, maintenance efficiency, and long-term asset performance.

The visit also reinforced the International Hub’s role as a platform for connecting innovation, international business development, and strategic partnerships, while opening discussions for future cooperation involving technology, industrial applications, and market development initiatives.

The International Trade Hub at SeaPort Manatee was proud to welcome André Odenbreit Carvalho, Consul General of Brazil in Miami, on September 11, 2025, for a special celebration of Brazil’s National Day and the 1st anniversary of the Brazilian Southwest Florida Chamber of Commerce (BSWFCC).
Under the leadership of Chairman Carlo Barbieri of the Oxford Group, with the Consul serving as honorary president, the Chamber continues its mission to strengthen ties between Brazil and the U.S. market-fostering growth, collaboration, and success.
We were joined by over 80 attendees, including distinguished leaders from the Central Florida Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Manatee Chamber of Commerce, Sarasota EDC, universities, American bankers, and government representatives, as well as pastors from across the community.
Together, we look forward to building even stronger connections between Brazil and Southwest Florida!

STRENGTHENING PRESENCE IN HONDURAS
From August 25–29, the International Trade Hub at SeaPort Manatee led a five-day Business Development Trip across Honduras, covering 800+ miles and meeting with private companies, chambers of commerce, and government leaders.

The highlight was the official opening of our new office in Tegucigalpa—a major step in strengthening trade and investment ties between Honduras and the U.S.

Along the journey, the Hub introduced three key initiatives:
✅ YCO (Your Company Office Program): A U.S. commercial base for Honduran companies.
✅ HYBRID: Connecting Honduran businesses with U.S. investors.
✅ NAMPEX: Helping Honduran firms represent U.S. products locally.
