The Amherst Railway Society is a nonprofit organization for railroad and model railroad enthusiasts.

We sponsor regular meetings, rail-fan trips, the annual Railroad Hobby Show, the Northeast Large Scale Train Show, and a modular model railroad group.

On Saturday, June 20 and Sunday June 21, children 15 and under will have an opportunity to be part of two make-and-take model railroad programs.
