Ole Miss Students. We no longer use Transloc. Go to the website outransit.com and download the new app it’s easy to use or you can message and I will help you. I’m the GM and want to make you know what to do tomorrow. Transit buses begin at 6:30. Bus stop signs are all over town. There are transit options anywhere in the city limits whether it’s a fixed route bus or Microtransit. Office number is 6622343540 option 2. We also have a FB account Oxford University Transit. This football season Oxford University Transit will utilize our fixed route system throughout the City of Oxford. If you park or stay in these areas look for the game day signs for pick up and drop off.

Jackson Ave , The Links - Blue West Route - drops at the JAC - shuttle to the pavilion.

Old Taylor Road, Oxford Way - Green Route drops at the Square Parking Garage Shuttle to the Union.

North Lamar, Molly Barr, Chickasaw Road - Red North - Square Parking Garage to the Union.

Oxford Commons, Bramlett Drive, Kroger - Grey Route Square Parking Garage to the Union.

Anderson Road, Lark, Red point, College Hill Rd, Mc Elroy, Molly Barr and Hathorn Rd - Brown Route - JAC lot shuttle to the pavilion.

Go to our website outransit.com download the apps to track our game day buses. Services begin at 6:30 am until 9:00 pm. Shuttles from the JAC lot and the Square parking Garage runs 2 hours post game.

Available transit options if games are passed 9:00 pm. This service is free. Call the office with questions and speak with dispatch. 662-234-3540. Go Rebs. ❤️💙🏈

Fall routes started today. We are working out some issues getting ready for Ole Miss to start. A few things we are working on:

1. One of the apps is requesting you pay. There not be any charge for the apps. Working to resolve this issue.

2. New GPS system - a few routes are not showing. Working this out as well. Could be driver error in logging on or the system. Give us a few days to iron these out. Green, Silver and Blue SRC Express seems to be an issue.

Let us know if you’re experiencing any issues other than those listed so we can address them.

Google Maps should be up and going this week as well.

SATURDAY ROUTES.

Beginning Saturday August 8th we will be running MICRO-TRANSIT instead of fixed routes. Saturday routes only within the city limits.

No worries we are still a safe and more reliable system AND still no FARES.

How it works:

1. You have the option to call us when you need a ride or use the apps which can be found on the website. Outransit.com phone is 662-234-3540 option 1.

2. This is SAME DAY service. You can also set up reoccurring rides for every Saturday just call if you need to cancel or go through the app.

3. Pick up can be anywhere within the city limits and taken anywhere within the city limits.

4. Time will be from 6:00 am - 8:00 pm.

5. Game days we will run our fixed route system and will be able to track the buses on those routes.

6. Spare is our Microtransit system once you set up your trip you will get a text to confirm your trip and get updates concerning your trip.

We got a new facelift on our webpage at outransit.com. Go check it out. We will be posting the updated route this week. All fall routes will start next Monday August 3. Pearl, Pearl Express, Teal, Blue East and part of Red South will be handle as same day ride by Microtransit. Call the office to begin scheduling your rides. 662-234-3540 option 1.

NEW THINGS ARE ON THE HORIZON!!!!

Oxford University transit has been working hard this summer upgrading technology to ensure we can offer the best commutation, realtime notifications and tracking systems. We are very excited and think you will be too. Here is what’s happening.

Swiftly - will take over our Fixed Route Transloc system. You will have access to view our routes on the Transit App, Apple App, Google Maps and the Spare app. All will be found on the website soon.

Spare - will be taking over the Demand Response and Paratransit and the new Microtransit.

Demand Response for our county residence You schedule your ride 24 hrs in advance if you live outside the city limits. You can schedule a single ride, double ride (there and back) or reoccurring rides if you want to be picked up the same time throughout the week.

Paratransit within the city limits also is a 24 hr schedule time with the same options above. Application required door to door service.

Microtransit is new this year it will run within the city limits and is available to areas that is NOT serviced by the fixed route system. Blue East, Pearl, Pear Express and parts of Red South has been changed to Microtransit due to low ridership. This will be a SAME DAY SERVICE. You can book your ride by calling the office or on the Spare app and Google Maps is also available. This will be from your current location to wherever in the city you want to go. Same as above single, double or reoccurring trips can be set up.

You will also see a new webpage design rolling out as well. We are so excited about these new systems and think you will be too.

We are currently seeking CDL and non CDL drivers to train for the fall semester. You will be paid during your training period. Negative drug test required. Valid drivers License. Will pay higher rate for experience CDL drivers. Fully paid benefits Health, vision, dental, and life insurance for the employee.

Apply at OUT 409 McElroy Drive FT/PT available. Must be able to work some Saturday’s.

You can ride the Grey Route to the Oxford Middle School for a free lunch between the hours of 11:00-1:00. Ask any bus driver if you need help on how to get there or message me here.

Oxford Transit update 1/30/2026

Our phones are not working nor is our internet. You can call 662-816-5209 if you need assistance PLEASE DO NOT CALL ASKING WHEN YOUR BUS WILL ARRIVE. Please be patient and wait at the bus stop it will be running if it’s on this list.

Oxford Transit has been running a few of our routes within the city. We are unable to transport from the county. If you are in dire need and need to get to a warming shelter to spend the night message me and we will try to find you transportation or call the number listed in this message.
