We are heartbroken to share the sudden passing of our dear friend and employee, Bruce Youngs. Words can’t express how much Bruce meant to all of us.

Bruce was more than a co-worker— he was someone we could count on, someone who brought warmth, dedication, and kindness into every day. We will miss his laughter, his generosity, and the way he made each of us feel valued.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Bruce’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. For those who would like to read more about his life and legacy, the obituary is included below.

Bruce’s presence will forever be a part of who we are, as Shivers Towing, and we will carry his memory with us on each and every call to help our friends and neighbors. Bruce was always there in times of need and we will continue, in his legacy, to be there for yours.

Shivers Towing is looking to hire light and heavy duty Tow Truck Operators. Our company strives to provide the best towing and roadside assistance service and customer experience. Shivers Towing is looking to hire quality people that are willing to represent the professionalism of the company and its values on a daily basis. No towing experience is necessary. In-house and certified training will be provided. Must have a clear driving record and pass pre-employment drug test and background check. Rotating on-call schedule includes working nights and weekends. A successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, some degree of mechanical aptitude, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload vehicles and equipment
Safely operate a flatbed/wheel lift tow trucks
Respond to traffic accidents and law enforcement agencies’ call
Clean up the scene of the accident in a safe and timely manner
Provide roadside assistance to customers
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of tow trucks
Perform truck inspections before and after trip
Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop and impound yard
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have Commercial Driver License, class A
Must be able to pass a pre-employment & random drug screening
Ability to work independently
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to coordinate and take direction from dispatchers
Ability to use a smart phone dispatching
Ability to communicate with customers
Ability to handle high stress environments
