The corn-growing-season is here! 🌽 And, goodness it is steamy! 🙃 We are doing our part to keep these ACs in tip-top shape! Thankful for these guys who “know the things” and “do the things” so I can make posts of them and “the things”

A couple of pro (ish) tips while you are camping and enjoying the AC:

• Keep the large vent(s) on the AC unit closed at all times. With the vent(s) open, the cold air dumps in one spot and gets sucked back up. When this happens, it freezes over the evaporator and the AC will be unusable.
• Keep all doors and blinds shut as much as possible to keep heat out.
• Oscillating fans are helpful to move air.
• Remember, the camper AC is able to cool the inside to about 20 degrees below the roof temperature. For example, if the roof temperature is around 100 degrees, the best the AC can be expected to do is 80 degrees inside. It will cool off much quicker at night, after the heating of the day.
• Turning the temperature down does not cool the camper off quicker.
