We say this during every rental walkthrough that has a tube:

🚩 Ski flag UP = someone is IN the water.
🚩 Ski flag DOWN = everyone is back ON the tube or in the boat.

At Lake of the Ozarks, things can get busy fast, and other boaters need to know when someone is in the water near your boat. Whether you’re tubing, swimming, floating, or picking someone back up, that flag helps everyone around you stay aware and safe.

Use the flag ONLY when someone is actually in the water.
Put it down when they’re back on board. And pay attention to the boats around you!🛟🚤

This flag is to be displayed when the person is IN the water before or after being towed on water skis or similar devices.

It’s one of the first questions everybody asks… and yes, we get it. You’re at Lake of the Ozarks, the sun is out, the crew is ready, speed boats are flying by, and you want to know what your boat can do!
